Mullayanagiri is the tallest mountain in Karnataka. Its 1930m high and is situated in Chickamagalur district. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva atop the mountain. A cave and a Nandi statue are at walkable distance from the temple. The mountain belongs to the Bababudangiri hill range, It is a trekkers paradise and often clubbed with Bababudangiri for trekking..

 Baba BudanGiri Hill is the most popular and sacred mountain range in Chikmagalur.   Perched at an elevation of about 1895 meters.  The hill is known for a holy cave known as InamDattatreyaPeetha which is a holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Muslims.   

 Kemmangundi is a hill station  located at Tarikere taluk of Chikmagalur district. This picturesque hill station is situated at a height of 1434 meters above sea level. Kemmangundi is also known as Sri Krishnarajendra Hill Station. 

Kalhatti Falls is also known as Kalhattigiri Falls and Kalahsti Falls. Water cascades from a height of 122 meters to flow before the Veerabhadreshwara temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva that is attributed to times of the Vijayanagar Empire. According to local legend, this place is associated with the Hindu sage, Agastya.

 Hebbe Falls, located 8 km away from Kemmangundi, is a favourite site for solitude seekers. The waterfall that is 168 metres in altitude is situated in Kemmangundi. Like other spring falls in the region, the water stream is believed to cure skin disorders. Enriched with minerals, the water stream is also a source of drinking water in the region 

 Hirekolale, a beautiful lake in Chikmagalur situated in the heart of nature and provides and awesome, silent ambience 

. This Lake is at a distance of just 10kms from the center of Chikmagalur. 

 At a distance of 2.5 km from Belur Bus Stand, Yagachi Dam is an earthen gravity dam situated near Belur.

 Kudremukh Hill Station. 95 kms southwest of Chikmaglur town is Kudremukh hill station. It is so named because of the horse-faced range that overlooks the Arabian Sea. ... Rich in flora and fauna, Kudremukh hill station Karnataka has lush green forests, grassy slopes, silent brooks, cascading waterfalls and rare orchids. 

 Belur and Halebidu are the best known temples of the Hoysala dynasty. The Belur and Halebid temples give a glimpse of Hindu temple art at its glorious best of the 16th century 

lush grassy slopes is endowed with a rich and varied fauna, abundantly seen at the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, 38 kms north - west of Chickmagalur town. The sanctuary surrounded by hills has the tributaries of the Bhadrariver flowing through it. The western border of the sanctuary abuts the back waters of the Bhadra Reservoir which has a catchment area of 1,968 kms. surrounded by scenic hills and steep slopes.

 The Coffee Museum captures the essence of Chikmagalur’s status as a heaven of coffee plantations amongst Chikmagalur tourist places. It is here that the quality of coffee is evaluated.
